About the Artist

GlassbyCameron is the work of Cameron Lipshires, a dedicated glass artist with over a decade of experience shaping molten material into meaningful, functional, and sculptural forms. Based out of the Blackstone River Glass Center, Cameron specializes in handcrafted glasses, solar lamps, vases, memorial pieces incorporating ashes, and a growing body of sculptural work.

Cameron’s journey in glassblowing began at 17, inspired by the documentary Degenerate Art. What started as a senior project quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit. After earning a BFA in Glass from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, she spent several years at Thames Glass in Newport as an instructor and production artist, followed by a transformative residency at Wave Murano Glass in Italy.

Every piece from GlassbyCameron is made with intention—designed to elevate everyday life, spark joy, or create moments of reflection. With a deep respect for the material, Cameron approaches glassblowing as a collaboration with the glass itself—learning, adapting, and pushing boundaries. Her work is a balance of discipline and spontaneity, craft and curiosity.

Whether you're a collector, a gallery, a restaurant, or simply someone looking for something beautiful and personal, Cameron welcomes the opportunity to collaborate and create.
